01. Connection Basics
Q: How do I connect the headset to Wi-Fi?
Put on the headset and press the Meta (⌂) button on the right controller. Navigate to Quick Settings > Wi-Fi, select your network, and enter the password.
Q: I don’t see my Wi-Fi network. What should I do?
- Ensure you are close to the router.
- Confirm the network is 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz (and not hidden).
- Refresh the list in the Wi-Fi menu or restart the headset.
- If hidden, use the "Add Network" option to enter the SSID manually.
02. Corporate & Guest Network Issues
Q: Connected, but can't join others in VR?
This usually means Peer-to-Peer traffic is blocked by a firewall or Guest Network restriction. Switch to a non-guest network or use a mobile hotspot as a fallback.
Q: Can I use my phone’s hotspot?
Yes. This is often the fastest workaround for corporate networks. Ensure you have a strong 5G/LTE signal and keep the phone near the headset.
