VR Controls Basics: Teleport, Grab, and Click
01. How to Move (Teleporting)
Instead of walking physically, you will primarily use Teleporting to move across larger distances on each site.
🎯 Activate & Aim
Press and hold B or Y. Point your controller to see a white arc and blue circle on the floor.

👟 Confirm & Move
Position the circle where you want to stand and release the button to teleport instantly.

💡 Tip: If the arc turns red or disappears, you are aiming at an invalid location (like a wall) and cannot teleport there.
02. Grabbing Objects
Use this method to pick up tools, parts, and equipment, or to modify valves and stationary objects.
✊ Reach & Grab
Move your hand toward the object until it highlights. Press and hold the Grip Button (side of the handle).

Verification:
- Green: Success! You are holding the object.
- Red: Restricted. You cannot grab this item.
- None: Ensure your hand is physically touching the item.
03. Clicking Menus & Buttons

Point & Select: Aim your controller at the UI (like login or settings). A laser line will appear. Pull the Trigger (under your index finger) to click.
04. Identifying & Clicking Objects (Laser Pointer)
Use the laser to "click" on 3D objects (pumps/valves) to read info without picking them up.
1. Toggle Laser
Press A or X to activate the beam. One is available for each hand.
2. Highlight & Click
Point at the object and pull the Trigger. A context menu or dialogue box will appear.
